Lars and Thomas live an isolated existence in an old trailer, surrounded by darkness. When Thomas decides to leave for "the twilight," Lars panics. He clings to their past, while Thomas longs for a new beginning. Under the stars, they engage in an emotional struggle over loyalty and the fear of change. Eventually, Lars falls asleep, and when he wakes up, Thomas is gone. His taillights fade into the night, while Lars remains behind in silent acceptance of their inevitable farewell.
